The Open Group offices will close at 12:00 (ET) on

The online certification systems will be accessible during this time; however, we will be unable to process certification submissions or respond to support requests until our offices re-open.

Passing the O-TTPS Assessor Examination is required for any individual who wishes to perform assessments of organizations seeking O-TTPS certification on behalf or an O-TTPS Recognized Assessor company. The examination is one of several criteria for qualification as an assessor. See the Recognized Assessor Agreement for the full set of criteria. Assessments may only be performed by individuals working for an O-TTPS Recognized Assessor company, though an individual does not need to be in the employ of an O-TTPS Recognized Assessor in order to take the Assessor Examination.

The examination covers knowlege of the Open Trusted Technology ProviderTM Standard, the certification process and requirements, and the processes and procedures for performing assessments. To prepare to be an assessor and take the examination, you should start by reading and become familiar with the O-TTPS Standard, Certification Policy, Conformance Requirements, and Assessment Procedures.

If you are interested in taking the exam, please contact the Certification Authority.
